Available on Car Finance - New Aston Martin Model To be Announced to Mark 100th Birthday

Come 2013, Aston Martin would have been around for a century. It would be the 100th anniversary of the decision to build a car made by two British entrepreneurs who are also big motorsports fans, Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford.

During that time of inception, the two individuals already teamed up to sell cars made by Singer. However in 1913, they decided to embark on their own project.

Their little project would lead to the creation of a Coal Scuttle in 1915 – the very first Aston Martin. 100 years later, a new model to mark 100 years of success is about to be announced.

CEO of Aston Martin, Ulrich Bez comments that the latest model will be completely new. He adds that Aston Martin would need to do something “remarkable” to celebrate their hundredth year. Bez assures that it would not just be a mere DB9 with a fancy centenary edition badge and it also wouldn’t be produced on a limited run like the One-77 Supercar. The car to mark the centenary would be a mainstream Aston and available on bad credit car finance even!

New Aston Martin prototypes have already been spotted doing test runs at Nurburgring and everyone thought that the prototypes were going to lead to an eventual replacement for the DB9. It was claimed that this would be a replacement for the sportier DBS however, Bez commented that the new model would be standalone.

While not much has been revealed, it is almost sure that the new car will be based on the VH platform and would very likely have a 6.0-liter V12 engine housed under the hood with 550hp on tap. Like the V8 Vantage, the new Aston would probably also come equipped with a seven-speed Sportshift II automatic gearbox with the option of a six-speed manual.

Recent spy photos reveal that the car would have a sharper overall look with bold lines ala One-77 supercar. The interior would also very likely be clad generously with leather and carbon-fiber.

Expect to see the model live later this year but if you cant wait this long and would prefer to have something with a more manageable monthly repayment then why not consider a used model with MSG Cars – Car Finance Bad Credit plans and see what we can do for you.
